Your old man stroked it did he? Damn, I missed out. I was a 14 year old 17 year old at the time this came out in 90. No chance of me clubbing back then.
My father always told me that this jam was huge in the 40-50 year old singles scene in its day.
Well that's good to know. Now, it is 1am so I guess I should get some sleep :D
I expect Hoshi will be bothering me to sleep under me duvet any minute!
Well Motorboy... good young squad, well coached... sitting 3rd in the table right now... okay JC... straight to bed and leave Hoshi to her dark passtime. Soul devouring.
w/e floats your boat. Impressive story... is it safe to say, hypotheticallly, if you were a fan... Villa would be your squad?
LOL, I don't know how I didn't get in to footie. I should have done, after all my dad played for Aston Villa under 21's in the early 50's! He was offered a try out for the main team but he was pressured in to getting a 'real job' by his parents :/
I've always had a love for motorsport, that seems to fill my sports needs.
ditto madman! Such a multi-faceted dude JC... how the hell did u avoid becoming a footy-fanatic?
Sweet, there are loads of old sets on youtube I must get around to hearing :D
I didn't hear any kraftwork until the late 80's when I started to get in to house, but they were definitely before there time. I largely rocked out in the 80' to 70's rock :D
Right on... you must be a fan of the breakbeats too. Someone just burnt me a Kevin Yost House set from somewhere this past weekend and its already served me well.
Kraftwerk were the firsts to really get out there (from what I remember) maybe listened to them in 84' the first time. You know... between my Black Sabbath and Motley Crue cassettes.
Cool! I like the Trance, Drum n Bass, Jungle & House too. I've been looking up old drum n bass tunes lately on youtube :D
I just have very fond memories of the early hardcore stuff as it was such a amazing time to hear those new raw sounds after all the crappy 80's pop music :D
I started off with the Orbital, Kraftwerk and the Orb.... but 90's rolled around and the Trance, Drum 'n'Bass, and House became huge. The hottest babes were at these parties and it was nothing to make out with 15 - 20 different girls in a night with your girlfriend right beside you taking a turn as well.... GT's.
Heres another awesome tune...
Plump DJs - Remember My Name
You like the club scene dance music more then, I'm more in to the hardcore early nineties rave music :D
Yeah.... the first one NO.... the second is a vast imrovement.... but I was a bit more like this....... Saw all the greats... Digweed, Oakenfold, Tong, Sascha, Tiesto. Toronto was a huge rave city!
I was a rave-kid and this was the look that got the chicks at the time. I remember taking this because I'd almost poked out my eye, the day before, getting hit by a hockey stick. It came mucho-close!
"the dude you wouldn't want your daughter to hang around with" :D
Were you shagging women with the Toni Braxton mega hit 'unbreak my heart' back in 97?
