ah, ok then ramsey. just be careful with that cutting back, these small vices make the life worth living :)
Nothing is wrong that cutting back on the beer/pasta/bread/red meat wouldn't cure.
Bellyful's situation and the recent passing of a friend (ten years older) just made me realize that I really do need to get a physical as it's been a few years since my last one.
ramsey, I hope it shows you to be fit as a fiddle. There are enough sick (in all regards) people on Lumra already :D
I've got a physical scheduled for the 4th. Thanks in part to your situation and the untimely passing of a friend.
I'm going in for an EEG on the 4th. Apparently the seizurey feelings I've been feeling for the past few months are actually tiny seizures in my brain coming from the residual tissue from the first tumor that was removed 7 years ago. So they need to map exactly where the little seizures are so they have a better idea of where to cut and where to not cut. Or something. It's all so complicated.
I don't live in St. Louis anymore. I'm in Washington State now.
If I would have known you were in St. Louis, I could have met up with you when I was at the Arch! :)
Thanks SeaFox :)
But don't you live in Indiana? I'm from St. Louis--somewhat close to you--but I can't even fly home to visit friends because of the massive vertigo I've had since the first brain surgery. But I'm sure you can handle the tree; you're a resourceful guy ;)
HOORRAAYY! Fantastic Bellyful!!
Now, can you come help me get this tree off my house!!? ;D
Fantastic news!! Can we stop praying now?
I've looked at the scans btw, and the part of the brain thats to be removed only controls the recognition of visual attractiveness and obesity recognition. Sooooo, looks like you'll get to live, and so will every chubby minger for miles!!! ;-)
Well that doesn't sound like a whole heap of fun, but I'm sure they know how to do it with minimal risks etc. Here's hoping it proves to be a positive test :)
I don't think a date has been set. In early August I'm going in for an EEG and they're going to purposely make me have a seizure (which I'm totally enthused about:/) so they can be perfectly sure where the tissue is because it's so close to the language center.
"Otherwise I'd sound like a tard to all y'all." - I'd always assumed you were anyway! ;P
Seriously though, this all sounds pretty promising. Any idea when will the operation be done? :)
Oh, and I miscalculated. It won't be 1 month until the 30th :/
That part must not be very important if they're just gonna cut it out. The only part that would suck is if in the future people are able to use more then the 2% that we use now and I'd be at a disadvantage ;)
that's good! although losing a chunk of brain seems not good, but it must be better than another tumor. So, do you know what part of the brain it will be?
Super radical fantabulous wicked news!
I had my biopsy on the 25th and today my mom and I met with the doctor who did the biopsy. The pathological test we got back a few weeks ago said that it was a glioma; you can learn more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glioma which is really unimportant because it's not a tumor, it's not cancer, it's residual tissue or something from the original mass. I really had encephalitis which is a pretty serious brain infection, but some people, like me who has never really ever gotten sick, have incredible immune systems, and all of those white blood cells came out to fight it (in the first tumor 7 years ago), but then in the process caused seizures on their own. So now the plan is to take out the part of the brain where the mass is and thankfully--which they will have to be sure about with and eeg--is not near the language center.
Otherwise I'd sound like a tard to all y'all.
I can't believe how fast time flies these days :-/ but it looks much better!
Whoa... it has? Wow! Keep getting better bfull, and is there any news I might have missed while I've been on vacation?

Sensible stuff ramsey. It makes sense to keep an eye on your health, and one on the future, and one on the past, and probably one on the present, and a couple on where your going. Wait, how many eyes do we have!?!?!?! :/
