Coos Bay is well South of Portland, and it's on the Southern tip of the dunes!
The Oregon Sand Dunes are 47 miles long right on the coast!
Google Earth Coos Bay, and you'll see! :)
Well I have the luxury of being English and as Americans use the English language however I choose to pronounce it will be correct! ;D
"Oregonians (pronounced /ˌɒrɨˈgoʊniɨnz/) pronounce the name [ˈɔɹəgən], [ˈɔɹɨgən], or ['ɔɹ.gɛn], and dutifully correct those from elsewhere, who often change the word's first and final syllables." - oh, not again. Navaada.
Belongs in political.lumra.com. Oregon is a blue state. http://snaps.lumra.com/~coincidence
*ducks*
;)
Bellyful, did you ever go to the Oregon sand dunes?! I took my 3-wheeler there in 1982! Stayed in Coos Bay for a week! Nice looking place! :)
According to my analytics account, lumra had 552 visits from Oregon in the last 30 days :)
I just heard they have a bike sharing service in Portland - I wouldn't have imagined that of an American city.
No, but I've been to Oregon! Does that count?!
Very friendly people there, just don't ask for directions to anything!
