Coming in for a landing

Well, we finished last of the teams that completed a flight attempt, but that was still 33rd out of 60. The point is, in only our second year, we've completed a scoring flight. This is our plane coming down for it's scoring landing. We had 25 mph winds to deal with, but we made it.

"I'm going to be a Rose again next week" - Interesting SeaFox, I had you down as a Pansy rather than a Rose... ;P
Wow! Glad you got it up!
I'm going to be a Rose again next week, Monday & Thursday!
Sorry I missed you, SeaFox. This airfield belongs to Cesna, in Wichita. They hosted the competition this year.
Congrats BA! Which airport is this?! It dosen't look like Brazils'!
I'm going to be at Rose again tonight! Tuesday night they had a Japanese drum banging concert in the back basketball court! It was very interesting!
ha! that's always the case, BA! :) i usually carry the team in a basketball game. no matter. keep working hard, do what you do and do it well and if you should wear a target on your back for being too good, wear it with pride! eventually, you'll claim first place ;) looks like great fun! :D
There are 8 seniors, 3 juniors, 1 grad student, and a handful of underclassmen. However, there were about 6 or 7 people who did most of the work.
Bravo! interesting box design.. how many people in your team? :)
My school's only been in the competition the last two years. Last year they lost a wing in mid-air on their first flight attempt. This flight was our 4th attempt, out of a max of 5. The last attempt was with our payload. We had to set it down in the grass after half a lap because it stalled in the wind, but the damage is minimal. We should be able to fix it up and keep it to show next year.
Friggin awesome bud.
How many years is the program? 4?
No failures by the end.
