Well i have both those cars an Mk1 950 1983 and a 2005 Mk6 ST and both are mucho exciting
I have a Mk2 XR2 as well because im greedy and a shit!
My sister bought a Fiesta and it was a complete rust bucket. The petrol tank rusted right through, the exhaust fell off and the petrol filler cap and tunnel broke away from the car body. When she traded it in to Ford she got £100 for it - What did she do? - Bought another Fiesta! - Typical woman!
I test drove a 1.1 Fiesta once, it was horribly slow :( My 1.3 Nova would happily fly up a hill in 5th gear and the 1.1 Fiesta was down to 3rd, and half the speed :(
One of my mates had a fiesta 1.1 pop plus in the same green as that. We used to get dropped off round the corner and let him go and park. Way to embarrassing...
Nice to see how things have moved on but a shame it's with such a badly styled car. It would have been better with a Jag or Mercedes.
