High Park, Toronto
I snapped this shot a couple of days ago with an iPhone. I have it blown up on my screen at work and I can't help but think that the deeper into the photo you look, the more it actually looks like an oil painting

Yes, you nailed it, Sundin. It really does look like an oil painting. I really like this one. One other one you took under a tree, looking up, where the leaves were several shades of pink , mauve, light orange, pale yellow, light marroon, etc, etc is like this... in that it's real, but it's soft looking like a painting. I've used that one for my desktop several times, and anyone who's seen it, thinks it pretty nice too.

Yes, just to the left of the bridge looks like daubs of paint!
yeah, sometimes a crappy camera can make an astonishing effect (depth of field and motion blur and things like that ;) )
On the contrary Che.... plenty of colours and leaves left... I took this shot this past Monday. Sunny ALL weekend... see u there.
Thx slarts.... do u see what i mean about the 'oil painting'. Everything beyond the bridge (with a human on it oddo) seems like brushstrokes to me.

yeh, well i was planning to take my girl out for a nice walk at high park this weekend, maybe do a little quicky behind da bushes.... but the weather's been madd windy & rainy lately..... the leaves probably been stripped off from the trees by now.
Frozen? we haven't had 0 temps yet Che. In fact its gonna be 14 on Friday. I have an 11am tee off time. Do yourself a favour Cowboy. Grab your best girl, get down to High Park this weekend and go exploring. Bring a whack of dope. You won't regret it!
