I live and work farther inland, but my Company is based in the Bay Area so I commute to our Corporate Office and our training facility quite often. I used to work in San Jose and the commute was a Royal B!7ch.
You're in San Francisco, Ramsey? My mate Paddy was there for a few weeks. He's just left for Arizona, then he's heading for Mexico. Ultimately he's aiming at Tierra Del Fuego.
Looks just like the I-580/680 interchange at 4am Sunday morning. Only with sunshine. If traffic was that light on the freeway in the East Bay Area, the speed wouldn't be less than 80.

My ship was in Frisco, in the 60's and I noticed they had what were called "Skyways". Said to myself, "Why can't we do that?" This pic was taken when traffic was light and they do go 80 when they can get away with it. There are other interchanges that are more complex than this one. The re-modeled I-10 opened recently with 16 lanes but we do a lot of begatting and it won't be long before the new generation brings it to grid-lock.
