I loved the movie too, and thought Leonardo was brilliant. I was just wondering how accurate the film was compared to his biography.
one has to keep in mind that Howard's obsessive-compulsive disorder was a symptom of his brilliance, and quite possibly the very thing that made him tick, and the root of his ingenuity.
freeze the film at 2:22:45 and you'll see an "easter egg" ;)
and Kate was brilliant in the film too
this WAS a great film, as slarti says. the scene where he locks himself up in his movie theater is brilliant. i never knew a thing about hughes until this film. dicaprio has arrived! ;)
My father worked for Mr. Hughes after the war. He rewarded loyality and basically was a fair man. He believed in the concept to give everyone a 5% raise today and get 10% more work from them tomorrow. His obsessive-compulsive disorder was a crying shame to such a brilliant man.
i loved that movie. why are you asking that Blaz? is it not historically correct?
fabio, how did you feel about Leonardo DiCaprio playing Howard Hughes in The Aviator after reading Hughes' Bio?
