Any wing-sawing going on tonight?! :)

2008-02-15 19:45:15 EST

Cheers fella, and good luck against the scum!

2008-02-15 19:44:17 EST

Left wing do gooders have wrecked this country, but it will correct itself. People are getting fed up now. ANyway, bed time!! Good night mate.

2008-02-15 19:38:58 EST

You're SO right mate. Why is it most people think like us, but the law NEVER alters?

2008-02-15 19:36:59 EST

DOn't know whats behind it, immortality maybe? They all seem to be good kids too.

On the subject of trouble makers, I think kids need direction these days and need to learn respect. I would be happy for national service to be recalled, and when they get banged up, make it hard. These shits that killed that dad, smirking even when found guilty. Give them 15 years, but make it rock breaking or cleaning toilets so their mates won't say 'he's doing time for 15 years' like some hero worship, but 'he's cleaning public toilets for 15 years'. take away the glory and break the bastards.

Can't believe it really, what a waste!!!!

2008-02-15 19:26:56 EST

Heard about the suicides, very sad.

2008-02-15 19:26:18 EST

Camera's have never bothered me, but then again i'm not out mugging an old biddy!

2008-02-15 19:24:21 EST

He killed one and shot another. Can't blame him. He was vunerable even though he fought back, its a shame. Some councils are to turn off the street lamps at 12 now to save electricity?? I personally would be happy with a camera on every street. If you're innocent you have nothing to worry about. They are cowards at the end of the day, give em a crack...

2008-02-15 19:19:00 EST

You've heard about the 2 suicides lately down here then?

2008-02-15 19:17:31 EST

Trouble is you'd be sent down then :(

2008-02-15 19:16:36 EST

As for the breaking into the home part, I'd beat them to a pulp!!

2008-02-15 19:16:01 EST

You're lucky mate. Remember that farmer a couple of years ago. He was driven mad with stress, and when he finally snapped then he was thrown in clink. I think he's still there??

2008-02-15 19:11:31 EST

It depends on the police. A few years back a single mum on my street had trouble with toerags, and the coppers said if we smack one, just make sure theres witnesses to say we didn't. It shouldn't be up to individuals to make a stance, but the shits will carry on if no one stops them. We have lots of gangs round here, had a few incidents in the past, but everythings fine now. Most of them even say hello when the walk past now.

2008-02-15 19:04:52 EST

The trouble is though, the law backs the un-lawful. If someone breaks into your house, you can't touch them.... Why???

2008-02-15 18:59:53 EST

I think the gangs get away with it becasue the community is scared of them. The press focuses on the cult of the hoody. When did you last get beaten by an item of clothing? Inside every hoody, behind every scarf is a person, normally a mouthy little shit who thinks coppers are a joke. No one stands up to them (well a few do) because of fear of prosecution? Measure the risk, but the community needs to stand up and be counted, and without fear of getting charged.

2008-02-15 18:38:23 EST

Exactly, I tell you i'm scared to walk around my local area at night because of gangs and it's country wide. Something must be done.

2008-02-15 18:36:23 EST

Very true, teenagers need to be encouraged to be part of society rather than ignored!

2008-02-15 18:32:40 EST

This country is one of the richest in the world but yet we NEVER invest in the youngsters. Give them places to go and things to do! No wonder they are pissed off and bored..... :(

2008-02-15 18:30:00 EST

Hopefully the youth services, if there are any, will try to offer help to those that need it. I can remember times at that age when it would feel like life was worthless, but just days later things can seem so different.

2008-02-15 18:24:09 EST

It's crazy that youngsters with their whole life ahead of them should do this?!?!

2008-02-15 18:22:00 EST

Sky report that at least some of them had interacted with each other on Bebo.

2008-02-15 18:19:43 EST

I heard that it was internet linked too?

2008-02-15 18:18:33 EST

I would expect it to be higher than average too, but this is indeed crazy. It's like these school shootings in America, suicide seems to have become the thing to do for troubled kids in Bridgend :(

2008-02-15 18:15:18 EST

Bridgend has always had high suicide rates but this is scary..... :(

2008-02-15 18:13:39 EST

There have been 14 of these 'teen' suicides in the past year, that would be enough to account for all the suicides in Bridgend in a year, but as far as I can tell should only account for around 20-30% :O

2008-02-15 18:02:20 EST

Typical police mate, deny everything!

2008-02-15 18:01:04 EST

I wonder how many suicides would be a normal amount?

...Ok I checked, in 2006 in the UK 17 men/100,000 and 6 women/100,000, averaging 11.5 people/100,000. In 2001, the last census, Bridgend had a population of 128,650. So, without allowing for regional variation, that would be only 10-15 suicides a year.

Wow! So the suicide rate really is high, bound to no link at all :\

2008-02-15 17:49:15 EST

Hey fella, another 2 suicides down here and the police continue to deny a link?!?!?

2008-02-15 17:01:05 EST

Too tired to fly, hopefully next time :(

2008-02-15 16:46:24 EST

We're on Vis!! :) Prepare for wing sawing ;D

2008-02-15 16:43:21 EST

YAY!

2008-02-15 16:42:40 EST

I'll set one up now guys

2008-02-15 15:46:32 EST

Is anyone up for having their wings neatly sawed off tonight!? ;D

2008-02-14 17:22:43 EST

ok

2008-02-14 17:17:46 EST

Good man that's how it works! ;D We're pigs by the way! :D

I've been looking on HyperLobbie, I haven't found a good one yet!

2008-02-14 17:14:05 EST

I initiated a pre v-day fight so that I wouldn't have to shell out money for v-day. That's how I roll. ;)

2008-02-14 17:11:11 EST

Bo, how come you're not with the "smothering" girl today!? ;D

2008-02-14 16:52:49 EST

I could go for it SF.

2008-02-14 16:50:41 EST

This is probably a stupid question today, but does anyone want to fly?! I could use a good dogfight about now!

2008-02-12 16:37:48 EST

Set one up if any of you are about.

2008-02-12 12:27:15 EST

The trick is to not only shoot others down, but to survive as well. Bail out or land and get out, and points are added for next take off. I think........

2008-02-12 09:41:40 EST

It is our birthday gift to him. LOL mwahahaha

2008-02-12 09:38:00 EST

LOL! He's going to kill us! :D

2008-02-12 09:36:18 EST

I always thought he played for that team myself, SF. ;)

2008-02-12 09:34:33 EST

Just exactly how far are we going to take this!? ;P

2008-02-12 09:26:06 EST

V45 is from the left coast after all. The land of alternative lifestyles.

2008-02-12 09:21:26 EST

And we know how much he enjoys that! ;D

2008-02-12 09:15:28 EST

No, that's incorrect! Vis always gets it in the face! ;D
