Photo Challenge - Panorama

This is my local brook, panorama style :)
It's not perfect, the foreground has some bits of duplication, but it was a difficult angle to start with (Well that's my exuse!)

Thanks guys :)
Vis, that's pretty much how I feel about it. :)
The curved effect is because the tripod was level but the camera was pointing down about 35-40 degrees. The camera was also in portrait because otherwise the brook disappeared of to the sides too quickly. Took some experimenting to get the position right. Camera lens was set to 36mm.
As for stitching together, I started at the left and would paste on the right 2/3rds of the next image, so effectively I was using just the central part of each image. I would make the edge of each cut and paste try to go roughly at 90 degrees to the brook otherwise it just didn't line up, so it was a bit like putting in segments of an orange. It didn't work perfectly but I'm sure it can be improved :)
I did this back in the 70's with an old camera inside the Astrodome here in Houston; 6 or 7 shots and then taped them together. Best I could do back then but didn't come up with a curved effect. I have a super wide-angle lens for my nikon but can't achieve this; how did you stitch them together.
Blue? They don't call it Honeylake Brook for nothing you know! :D
Honey = All the silt from the fields washes in and colours it!
Lake = It floods!
Brook = When not in flood!
It's worth mentioning that this bit of the brook is actually straight, it's the effect of the camera angle that causes it to look curved when all the pics are stitched together, and yes that is intentional!
This was made from 13 photos with a lot of overlap, otherwise the curve effect would have looked like lots of straight lines rather than a smooth curve.
