I understand HWR's reluctance to be placed in charge of the convoluted mess that is snaps. What is safe? Much like OZnBrats new assignment I don't envy the person who ends up with snaps.

I did think you meant "Shame on you", oddo. If you meant, "It's a shame", then I thank you for your trust in my decision making. I can't think clearly yet. My head's still in a dither.

I also agree with RJ. There should be a few anonymous moderators for this site. (This is a HUGE site, afterall, and not everyone agrees what is safe & what isn't. Too much power to be placed in one person's hand.)

Oddo, I think maybe HilWil thought you meant "shame on you" instead of "it's a shame" that she couldn't be owner/moderator.

Knowing her situation, I fully understand her decision.

I wonder if the identity of the moderators even should be known. Maybe better yet, there should be 3 or 4 anonymous moderators.

So, you're saying, I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't, oddo? I'm sorry you feel that way. I wouldn't be able to put as much time into the position as would be needed anyway. I've only been on a lot lately, because I'm still out on disability from work. But as soon as I'm back on my grueling schedule, I'll only be here about twice a week again.

OK guys, I did NOT accept the offer of new owner of this site. And I did NOT delete ANY pictures! It was just thrown at me without my permission. I wouldn't even know what I could or couldn't do in such a position. OK, so I'm going to decline the offer for two reasons, 1) because I think it should go to someone who's been here a lot longer than I have, and 2) besides, I like being in the background.

And, did you notice how he said...."let's try it :)".....That to me doesn't sound like..."TAG! You're it!.

I do wish to thank those who've congratulated me already, though. That was nice. (I actually read their messages before admin's, so you can imagine I was rather confused by thier good wishes.)

Look, I like all you guys here, and don't want to be put under any pressure. I guess I have to reply back to 'admin' ASAP, to get my name out of there. So, good luck to whomever he picks next. :)

UPDATE - I just got a message from HilWil. Just like me, she didn't even know she had been named as "owner" until a couple of hours ago! She had questions that I couldn't answer about the job.

So, please don't blame HilWil for the post being gone. Perhaps tjp deleted it - I noticed that he was on the site yesterday and again today, which is unusual.

I imagine that, in addition to the site owners, he has the power to delete.

OMG! HilWilRun IS the new owner! I wonder for how long - and I wonder if she knows it!

I think US's decision to minimize exposure of cheerleaders in our sports greatly contributed to my lack of excitement towards these sports.

Hell, I'd even sit through church if they had shit like that at halftime to keep me entertained.
