Me and 2 others hiked deep in the woods to a really cool vista and saw it. I forgot my glasses and the beer kept freezing. Managed to destroy my foot pretty well too. All shiityness aside it was worth it.

2008-02-21 22:24:10 EST

Yes, but that's the best sky-gazing weather, you just have to dress for it! :)

2008-02-21 21:33:25 EST

yeah, i had to run outside and look for a minute and then ruck back in and warm up, and repeat that over and over. it was COLD last night.

2008-02-21 18:04:04 EST

ZZZZzzzzzzzzz... i watched it too, for about 5 minutes... brown moon, hmmm... bigger smaller... you didn't miss too much Candy.

2008-02-21 17:49:45 EST

Well you missed it CandyGirl! I was out with the telescope for two hours watching the whole thing! It was worth it! :) It's a good thing it was last night, because now it's snowing! :)

2008-02-21 17:37:36 EST

I'm so disappointed I missed it last night. I was a frozen solid block of ice INDOORS, I wasn't going outside for anything. No, really, it was very cold and I was a lazy MF.

Oddo, ummm, the beach. I've never actually been to Miami. I have not had a reason to go, and was advised against it by people I know that went. Apparently I would stand out a bit, and not in a good way.

2008-02-21 09:25:14 EST

Ha ha, could be :D

2008-02-21 09:13:02 EST

Maybe it was your Dad who got Hoshi to wake you, because he didn't want you to miss it either! ;)

I was just glad it happened at a good hour for me to see it, because for me, there is no such thing as a 4 am Eclipse! ;D

2008-02-21 08:58:55 EST

SeaFox, it was our last chance to see one in the UK until 2015. I wasn't really planning on seeing it as it was at around 4am, but as my cat kindly woke me up I thought I'd take a look :D

It was actually a nice way to mark 11 years since my father died, he would have loved to see it too :)

2008-02-21 08:13:26 EST

JC, I'm glad you got to see part of it! I didn't know you could see it over there! It looked great last night! When it went to totality, I could get a good look at Saturn, and it's Moon, Titan! :)

2008-02-21 07:13:41 EST

Cheers btz! ;)

Porzel, I'm flying to Miami on Friday morning. Probably only gonna get a day in total there before i go to Rio. What's the one thing i should visit in Miami? Cheers ;)

2008-02-20 23:21:59 EST

Yeah, fuck you guys.

Just kidding. Did anyone get us any good pics?

2008-02-20 22:30:56 EST

yeah, the sky was incredibly clear here! i don't think i've seen an eclipse quite like it before. really cool!

2008-02-20 21:43:44 EST

I'm surprised it's so clear here tonight! It's 16 degrees F here, so the sky is crisp and clear, no heat waves, so I got the telescope out for this one!

2008-02-20 21:40:32 EST

It is way too cloudy here in Florida.

2008-02-20 21:36:17 EST

It's more than half gone now! Looks great through the telescope! Still shadowy, and Saturn is near by!

Pillsbury Doughboy?! ;P

2008-02-20 21:18:19 EST

This cannot be happening!!!! No!!! Damnation, NO! The earth is flat and this is just a trick. A hoax being pulled on us by the same republifascists that brought us the moon landing, 9-1-1 and the Pillsbury Doughboy.

;)

2008-02-20 21:13:14 EST

At this Moment, it's one third into it, and the edge of the Moon is a little redish! Looking through binoculars, you really can tell it's a ball in the sky now!

2008-02-20 19:59:52 EST

You're not going to believe this! I have a clear sky! I'm going to see the Eclipse! :)

2008-02-20 09:00:17 EST

Which automatically means it will be cloudy tonight!

Comment on it!
