There wouldn't be enough sugar in the world to make a burdock pie!
A local woman told me about when she was newly married. Her new husband had said he loved rhubarb pie. She, a city gal, decided to make him one. She got a recipe and followed it faithfully.
It was HORRIBLE!
I guess she didn't know about burdocks!
I used to gnaw on rhubarb I found in the garden as a kid too :D
Yes JC, I'm still fond of rhubarb crumble. Unfortunately RJ, those two are my big sisters.
