estimated at over 8 feet tall and 700 pounds bigfoot

question, how can it subsist that weight on berries and nuts? It can't start fires, and it aint fast enough to chase deer and caribou, aint got no claws for ripping salmon and I know it wouldn't mess with bears..

Monkey people ruled the Earth but humans came here through the stargate and pursued them to underground caves and dungeons. After many decades of hiding and living underground the monkey people are preparing a war against manking to reclaim the Upper World. This creature taken on film was actually a spy.
Q: is the plural form of bigfoot bigfeet? :D
Yeah, and can you imagine what kind of metabolism this thing has!
odd you say that SeaFox, I went from 122lbs three weeks ago at the doc's office, to 133.5lbs yesterday..and I eat like an Indian Elephant! <plus I cut back on the drinking > ;-) No B.S...How in the world can an 800lb creature subsist without steak, potatoes, beans, rice, steak fries and chocolate cake, Cokes, gatorade, vitamin water? And that's just my nightly dinner, I eat BLT's egg, ham, Ensure shakes, and yes bannanas, and chocolate chip chewy cookies, and a sensible salad with ranch dressing, and I still aint as big as chewbacca....lol.
I know one thing! I've not been able to eat much these last two-three weeks, and I've lost ten pounds!
My point was more that very large heavy animals do manage to cling to life finding food in the pacific Northwest,
You are speculating about many things about the alleged BF that is simply not proven in any way what so ever.
You put BF if it exists in a category to further your personal opinions and beliefs that it is a primate and then claim it has human like molars, ( how do you know what teeth it has? ) while some fossil molars of gigantopithecus have been found no teeth of a BF have been found, if they have been found and proven BF teeth post them or move on,
You go on to make many assumptions on the diet and feeding habits of the creature, basing your opinions on what? If it is what you assume the habits of the great apes to be then you are off a bit.
Have you actually compared the teeth of humans & the great apes to that of a bear?
While the mouth shape is different the great apes all have canines very much like that of a bear,
A bear does have sharper more pointed teeth further back for better ripping of flesh.
It is common practice to pull the long sharp canines of the apes we see on TV and in movies.
So to take a speculative stroll down your street of thought we will assume the BF is like man or one of the other great apes, being Chimpanzee Gorilla Orangutan and Gibbon,
While some humans for health or moral reasons choose to be vegetarians we have teeth that make us omnivores, any of the great apes will on occasion eat meat in addition to plant matter.
While it is interesting you don't believe that a creature like BF could feed itself in the PNW I have more reasons to believe it could.
What people need to do is not get too caught up in their own personal opinions over science and fact,
"...and a partidge..in-a-pear tree.." look, moose and caribou are rumniants, which means they have multiple stomachs for the purpose of regurgitating vegetation for re-digestion and chewing the cud, bear hunt fish and have canine like teeth and claws, however, BF is more along the primate class, and has molars like humans, unless it can stealthily catch prey, or forage dead carcasses (highly unlikely, it aint a wolf), it can not subsist on the grass that rumniant animals can, therefore, my only guess is it can build a fire, farm land, or hunt with firearms all three of which unlikely, nevertheless I appreciate y'alls comments, now...on to the flying saucer and nessy..
Agreed Somestranger. Possible, not probable, but nothing should be dismissed for just being improbable. What creatures thought to be extinct or not yet discovered have been found in recent decades? The megamouth shark was only discovered in 1976, the giant squid, thought to have been an old myth but confirmed and filmed for the first time in 2004. Not to mention recent finds include a new Genus of monkey in Tanzania, a new parrot and forest mouse on a small Philippine island, a 'hairy' lobster (This was a whole new family, not species), a new snake in Vietnam, 5 new frogs and a new newt in Laos, a new stingray in Thailand, a new monkey in India, an unusual spitting spider in Madagascar that lives in family groups, and new sharks off Mexico and Indonesia. Borneo is a hotspot for new discoveries; from 1994-2004 361 new species were found there: 260 insects, 50 plants, 30 fish, 7 frogs, 6 lizards, 5 crabs, 2 snakes and a toad. So, once he moves out of the Hendersons house, we might see him again!!
Mayo stop whinning and swinging the spotlight if you have a picture of the monkey suit post it if not give up, it's not our place to prove you a dolt you are doing that well enough on your own.
Well, no one has really proven how big the thing is, people say 800 pounds and up to 10 feet tall,
If real I am thinking 6-7 foot is more down to earth,
The pacific north west where the alleged BF is said to live there is enough food of all types to support large bears, moose etc so it could support a BF if in fact BF is a real creature.
From Texas over to Florida the so called BF or "Skunk ape" is much smaller and I believe the released or escaped primates from zoos and road side attractions,
The long arms...Chewbacca has longer arms than a man and I am pretty sure he is just a man in a fur suit.
You would think with so many people snapping so many pictures these days that a good pic of BF pic would show up and it has not,
Do I Personally believe there is a large bipedal hominid living in the Northern USA?
It is possible but I need better proof than blurry close to 40 year old movies taken by a fellow on the pay role of a wildlife film company witting a book about BF
You never more than 10 minutes from a KFC, remember that!!!!
For some reason, I think Zomatra might be making a post on the Favorite Quotes page pretty soon.
You know' Zom I never thought of the fact of it needing enough food to maintain it's weight & size! That open up new questions for me! I don't remember any of the shows on this, talking about it's nutritional needs ! :) Gosh you're smart! :D
aint no bananas growing in the Pacific Northwest, I just sat through about 4 hours of "creature" documentaries on the History Channel, for x-mas, and at the end of each show..."the question remains", lichen can't possibly support an 8 foot hominid mammal, and surely a dead carcas would have shown up by now, when one considers just how effective forensic law-enforcement is at tracking missing persons or identifying corpses, I'd have to give the believability of bigfoot a 05% chance <maybe>.. ;-) (and to think taxpayer dollars have beeen spent on flaky Ph'd's hanging shiny cd's from trees and wrapping cameras and bait on tree trunks)
Hmmm read the article. http://unifiedworlds.com/BFhoax.htm#costumemaker
Fairly middle of the road article, but I do see any proof either way to be honest. This guy was making monkey suits in the basement and then claimed that one on telly was his? Great advertising for him. He admits he never met the man who made the film, so I'd want to see a proof of order or receipt etc to believe his story. The thing about the sticks to make the arms longer not corresponding with the elbow joint in the footage is interesting. I'm not saying this footage is real, but I still haven't seen evidence to the contrary either.
Phillip Morris has been making monkey suits for the movie industry for decades. There have been many newspaper articles concerning this hoax. The problem is the people who want to believe the hoax refuse to accept the truth. They don't bother to check the facts. I proved this many times by posting bigfoot sightings on the "believers" sites. I was never asked for any proof... never even received an e-mail from the site owners, yet my "sightings" were accepted as fact.
Do this: Google "morris costumes bigfoot hoax" and check for articles from legit sources. You can also call Morris Costumes and talk to them. They will even tell you who they sold the costume to. It was the same guy who made the film clip.
Hey Mayo, I'd like to have this confirmed as a hoax, it looks like one certainly, giant hairy monsters? C'mon......
I'm no research scientist though, so please direct me in the way of the concrete proof that this is a fake! Cheers...
See Mayo goes from just appearing he might be clueless to proving it in flying colors,
It's not my burden to check out your claims, if you say that costume shop made the monkey suit prove it or shut up but don't swing the spotlight off you being a dolt by speculating on my belief in something or not.
The real issue here is Mayo knows he can not prove a thing about that shop making the costume,
If he could prove it he would , point made case closed.
You didn't believe me yet you didn't check it out. What budding scientists we have here.
This is an old, old story about an old, old hoax. I guess it is more fun to believe the hoax.
I don't know if this is a man or a bigfoot, but wouldn't it be nice if we finally knew what all the mystery creatures were?! And also one, -just one- that woud be in focus!?!?
Thanks for the kind words,
I have been interested in the paranormal and cyrptozoology for over 35 years and try to keep an open mind,
The Thing is I believe there very well could be a large bipedal hominid living in the northern USA
Perhaps it's the descendants of gigantopithecus blackie, no one knows,
I do not however base my belief that we could have a primate living in the northern USA on the Patterson film because there is just too much about the film that cannot be proven either way.
I know I can't prove a thing about the film all I have are my opinions.
Like I said to Mayo if that costume shop made the suit lets see a picture of that suit on a rack or a new one that looks just like it otherwise we have to file what Mayo thinks in the "Opinions" folder.
Cheers,
SomeStranger...Well friggin' said. It's easy for a small-minded person to discount things they don't understand... but much more difficult to prove something DOESN'T exist when no one is really 100% sure.
And Mayo...something tells me you haven't seen much of the world. There are many places where humans haven't ever been...and if they have, on a very limited basis. There is still much of the world that is undiscovered, misunderstood....and who knows what's going on out there.
Just remember.. 100 years ago the greatest minds in the world said flight was impossible. There will always be those who refuse to believe the impossible...and then proven completely wrong.
Thing is if a person belives the Patterson film creature is real nothing is going to prove it fake if you know its fake nothing will prove it real,
Seems someone with enough time to file fake reports is akin to winning the special olympics.
10 K for a live or dead BF, get real, a tabloid pays that for crappy pictures a body would be worth many millions, way out of your budget.
Back it up!
If Morris costumes made the outfit, post a pic of it or another one they made just like it otherwise your statement is nothing more than your opinion.
That costume was made by Morris Costumes in Charlotte, NC. If you don't believe me, check it out.
I used to file phony bigfoot reports on the bigfoot sites. They treated them as fact. I also offered a $10,000 reward for a bigfoot... dead or alive. No takers. File them under "space aliens".
